“Kristin has taught my daughter Katie for 5 years.  Katie started taking after school drama with PPAS in third grade, continuing on into middle school and drama summer camp.  Katie has learned a great deal about acting, role development, and working together with others.  She has gained the self-confidence of performing.  She has also learned improvisation, such as when someone, or yourself, forgets their lines during a performance, how to turn a mistake into a part of the piece, and how to laugh about (and learn from) it afterwards!  Katie is now taking piano and voice lessons with Kristin.  She is doing well, is motivated to practice, and is considering applying to a fine arts high school.  PPAS has respect for their students.  They make lessons fun, and have control of the lessons and the group.  I often call Kristin a Renaissance woman, for she has so many talents in the arts that she does well and that PPAS teaches.  I would recommend PPAS for any of the classes they teach, and feel lucky for my child to have an opportunity to study with such talented teachers.”

"The teachers have REALLY good ideas and suggestions for practicing our plays. Drama is fun because we get to rehearse our lines, play games and sing.  I was proud of everyone after our play was over.  We all want to go to join PPAS drama class again and we will.”

“Please count Natalie in for the next round of voice classes on Wednesdays.  She loves both the PPAS drama classes, and I really want to thank you for making her experience with drama and singing so positive and meaningful.  Given Natalie's ADHD diagnosis, academic work and learning is difficult.  Before she began with PPAS, her self confidence had plummeted and school was a place she did not feel comfortable.  Being involved with drama has given her a sense of purpose and passion, and has allowed her confidence to come back full force.  Doing something like running for Student Council (and winning!) would not have been possible without her drama training, and the discipline of theater really helps her focus better overall on school work.  The benefits are truly priceless!!

We can't thank PPAS enough (both Kristin, and Jennifer) for being amazing teachers and role models.”

“PPAS is the best!!!! Dedicated, interested in teaching in the ways that students learn, rather than only the way a teacher wants to teach. Kristin and Daniel are able to draw the best out of their students both as performers and as people. Both my daughters studied with PPAS from beginning of Middle School all the way through High School and are now both in college (NYU and Tufts). They are pursuing artistic studies and I'm glad!”

"My six year old daughter started taking piano lessons for the first time with Kristin (Piano Everyone) this summer. She immediately fell in love with playing the piano. Kristin helps push her when she needs it and inspires her to try new things after every lesson. After only a few months she sees herself as a piano player.”

"Clare has really enjoyed her drama experience with PPAS over the summer. She has gained a great deal of confidence.  It has been fun seeing her imaginary play evolve and mature into performing on stage. Thanks to Kristin, Mary and Sionne.”

"Grace has thoroughly enjoyed her exposure to drama with PPAS.  She and I were both proud of her participation in the summer production.  The kids all knew their parts, seemed poised and confident, had fun and were a joy to watch!  Grace was eager to sign up again and to continue to build on her performance skills.  I can't wait to see the next play.  I have recommended the program to other parents I know and they have been pleased with the quality of the instruction as well."

"Page has really enjoyed her drama classes this past year.  She has always had a flair for the dramatic, but PPAS is helping Page to make her "little" voice bigger!  It's great to see the kids up on stage performing, and watch them develop confidence and have fun at the same time!"
